The Patchwork Path is a 90 minute live art journaling workshop. Together we'll turn the seasons of your life, the torn ones and the golden ones, into a patchwork path of resilience, stitched together with Scripture.

Resilience isn't being tough
So many of us believe the resilient women are the ones who never fall apart. The ones who smile, say "I'm fine" and keep going.
Resilience isn't pretending it didn't hurt. It's being carried through it.
For 34 years I worked as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, alongside people rebuilding their lives after everything changed. What I learned is that resilience isn't something you're born with. It grows. Slowly, quietly, often in the seasons we'd rather forget.
You've come through so much...
But have you ever stopped to see the whole path?
The marriage that ended. The children who left home. The caring role that finally stopped. The illness, the move, the job that went. You survived seasons you never thought you would.
My own path ran through a complicated relationship with my mum, and learning, slowly, to swap resentment for compassion. It didn't happen by being strong. It happened because God softened my heart.
Most of us never look back and name what God grew in us through it all. This workshop gives you the space to do exactly that.

- Map your seasonsName 5 to 7 seasons of your life, the hard ones and the healing ones.
- Build your Patchwork Path45 minutes of creating together, with music playing. Torn paper for the broken seasons, gold for the healing.
- Share and give thanksHold up your path if you'd like to, and close by praying the Gratitude Declaration together.

Is there a replay?
Not with the $7 ticket. This is a live only experience, so please book only if you can join us on the day. Replays are kept for Creative Sanctuary members.
I'd love the replay. How do I get it?
Join Creative Sanctuary as a monthly member for $27 a month, and you'll get the replay plus the full Resilience Building Journal inside the membership. Even better, your full $7 comes back to you once you become a member, so the workshop is on me. One of my assistants will check who has joined and refund your $7 by hand. I'll share the link at the end of the workshop.
What time is it where I live?
4pm UK time on Tuesday 27 October. UK clocks go back on Sunday 25 October, but US clocks don't change until 1 November, so that day it's 12 noon Eastern, 11am Central and 9am Pacific. Check your calendar invite for your exact local time.
I can't draw. Is this for me?
Yes! I failed my art exam at 16, resat it, passed, and then didn't pick up a paintbrush for 34 years. We're not making something pretty. We're making something true. If you can tear paper and hold a glue stick, you can do this.
How do I join on the day?
Your Zoom link arrives in your confirmation email as soon as you book. If you can't see it, please check your spam or promotions folder and save the email somewhere safe.
When do I get the prompt guide?
It's emailed to you after the live workshop, with every prompt, verse and step, so you can keep adding to your path in your own time.
Do I have to share or have my camera on?
Not at all. Cameras are optional and sharing is always an invitation, never an expectation. Some of the most powerful moments happen quietly on the page.
Is this art therapy?
No. This is Christian art journaling: art as a way of meeting with God, reflecting on His faithfulness and responding in prayer.
I'm already a Creative Sanctuary member. Do I need to buy?
No, please don't! This workshop is included in your membership. You'll find all the details in the community.
By 5:30pm on Tuesday...
You'll have a page in front of you that tells the truth about your story. Torn patches and golden ones, side by side. You'll have named at least one strength God grew in you, and written a prayer of thanks for the whole road. Nothing dramatic. Just a quiet, honest look back at how faithful He has been.
